Terms of service

Last updated 16 September 2026. These terms are between you (the merchant) and Scorptek LLC.

The service

Reshelf is a Shopify app that collects back-in-stock and price-drop requests from your shoppers, emails or texts them when the item is available again or cheaper, and reports on what happened. By installing it you agree to these terms and to Shopify’s own terms for apps.

Your account and store

You must be authorised to install apps on the store. You are responsible for the wording you put in front of shoppers, for having a lawful basis to contact them, and for how you use any addresses or numbers you export. If you send texts, you are responsible for complying with the texting laws where your shoppers live and, with your own Twilio account, for your agreement with Twilio.

Plans and billing

Plans are described on the pricing section and charged through Shopify Billing on your Shopify invoice. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial once per store. You can change or cancel your plan from the app at any time; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don’t give partial refunds for unused time. On a paid plan we do not stop sending alerts if you exceed your monthly allowance; we ask you to move to a plan that fits.

What we promise, and what we don’t

We work to send every alert promptly and to tell you in the app when something isn’t working. We can’t guarantee that every email or text is delivered (mail providers, carriers, spam filters and typos are outside our control), that carriers will approve a managed texting number, or that the service is never interrupted. The service is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost sales or indirect losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the app to send anything other than the alerts shoppers asked for, don’t try to circumvent limits or abuse protections, and don’t use it for products or content that Shopify prohibits.

Data

How we handle shopper and store data is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

Ending things

Uninstalling the app ends the agreement; your store’s data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end service for a store that breaks these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.
